My passion - hiking

Hi! My name is Ilze, I am Latvian, living in Zakopane.

In 2018 together with my best friend we went for a trip to Zakopane to explore Tatra Mountains. It was a life changing trip for me as I met my future husband there😊. And so, in 2019 I decided to move from Latvia, Riga to Poland, Zakopane.  

Living in Zakopane gave me opportunity to enjoy hiking in the Tatra Mountains all year long. When I first visited Zakopane and Tatra Mountains in 2018 it took me a lot of time to find all the necessary information on internet about hiking in Tatra Mountains (including the info about buses, tickets, how to get to starting point by public transport etc.) as most of the information is in Polish language.

Meeting a lot of hiking enthusiasts in Tatra Mountains and time to time explaining tourists who stop me on the street and ask some info about hiking, I decided to create the e-books in English with detailed information about hiking trips. Creating these e-books, I kept in mind my first experience in Zakopane and in the Tatra Mountains - what info is needed.

All the trails described in the e-books I have done many times during several years. And it took me 9 months to create these e-books. I believe there is all the necessary information you need to feel safe and enjoy hiking in the Tatra Mountains.
